Song Title: Closer (Crossfade Remix) [feat.Valence] by The Engagement
 THE ENGAGEMENT
Bio: Independent electro/pop project from Melbourne Australia, The Engagement has already released a collection of well-received singles without any sign of letting up. Melbourne’s Fox FM described the project as “a cool 80’s/retro sound”, while Triple M personality Jane Gazzo simply called it “Fantastic”.

Drawing influences from some heavyweights of the prog rock and pop genres, such as Muse and Coldplay, The Engagement combines catchy melodies and edgy production with lyrical depth that creates a unique and addictive sound.

‘Engagement’ is much more than a name for this project; it’s what happens to anyone who hears these songs. It’s hard to listen to any of their singles, (Heartbeat, Collide, Angels, just to name a few) without becoming an immediate fan.

Already with over 100,000 views on YouTube, The Engagement is quickly gaining fans in Australia and around the world.

THE REVIEW!
Today I got the review pack from David on 12th Dec 2016. Exemplary with a song to listen to, many links to social media activities of THE ENGAGEMENT also cover and a photo. So I would also like to have this at HMB, thank you THE ENGAGEMENT.

To the music. This is the first dance review I am writing now. The guitar sound makes me crazy, cool sound, fits great. It integrates well into the mix. The vocals have full power. The cutted vocals fit well in the song process. At the deep of the overall mix I wanted even more bass strength. The sound selection is really good. With a bit of lead sound, a kick, vocals and a really horny guitar. This title reminds me of all the rock songs from teen films and makes a change and brings me back to the dance feeling of the big festivals. Cool song for lovers of dance music. Spread the name
THE ENGAGEMENT.

THE REVIEW:

Hello everybody my name is Rick (Beatdropjunkie) from Hochstuhl Music Blog, the singer and songwriter Chris Watkins have asked me for a review, on 7th Dec 2016.

I listen his full soundcloud account: https://soundcloud.com/drunk-poets/

His music remember me to the movie "from dusk till dawn". The feeling of the whole music is really great. "Cheerleader in Love" is my favourite song. Male & female voice are very warm and clear. The Guitarsound is tuned very well. The sound & mixing are clear and powerful. I can close my review with the words, cheerleader is new work of Chris Watkins/Drunk Poets and it´s a very good song. Cheerleader Could be the main title song of a love movie. The street of his work is long, starting from Winterbirds, Going Down Slow, Lights All Askew, Dark Old Houses, They Can't Hurt You Anymore ... and many more. Fasten your seatbelts and start listen good music in the evening during slowly drinking a glas of good wine.

THE REVIEW:
Hello everybody my name is Rick (Beatdropjunkie) from Hochstuhl Music Blog, the band Blue Helix have asked today for a review, on 25th Nov 2016.  I got today a really cool pack with photos and music. So I could make a really good picture of the guys. I was overwhelmed with countless information. Thanks first of all.

I've listened to all your songs from the pack. Technically, you sound like the best bands in the world in your genre. And this is a praise! The (instrument selection) sound selection of the individual songs I like very well. The guitar riffs are very good and strong, I love them. And the vocals are very powerful. The ballads are very nice. The speed of the interplay of the whole music is great. You will never be surprised during a transition in the song, the music is fluent and I love that. The vocal & lyrics are also implemented with much feeling and they interact perfect with the sounds of the songs. The vocal range in the mix is also exciting. And you´re right: MY FAVOURITE IS: Gimini!

THE REVIEW:

Hello everybody my name is Rick (Beatdropjunkie) from Hochstuhl Music Blog, the singer & songwriter Andrew Brady has asked today for a review, on 23rd Nov 2016. So I listen this evening to his music. I piked out the songs, A Man Who Drank Like Fish, Speed Camera, Noise, Winter Clothes.

First I have to say, Andrew has one of the most extraordinary voices I've ever heard and that definitely belongs to the beginning of this review. He is the man for the campfire, I see him on the old oak with a range of good friends. He makes the evening beautiful. When I hear his voice, I think of the Beatles. Beautiful and warm but also powerful.

It's a big step! But it will be worth it. The music I heard today was really cool. The ideas the lyrics have convinced me. And, of course, his voice creates the even campfire feeling.

The Song: Noise is placed for HMB TOP 5... 24.11.2016

So I listen this evening to their soundcloud page. Very good! In the minutes I listen their music, I felt like I was on a trip across America. Clear powerful vocals climb my ears. The sound of the music is super warm. The instruments sound wonderfully recorded and clear. The mixture of the sounds and the arrangement of the songs I like. Overall the group is a listening pleasure. Whether in the pub, whether in the club, on mp3 player or in the favourite film. This group must hired!

BEATDROPJUNKIE REVIEW
When I got the title I thought only wow. Hip Hop or Rap. You know I make dance music. But I thought of a possibility. The rap is fresh and clear. I understand the guys really great. The sound is cool. On my monitors in the studio, the track sounds really bold. CD cover and photo you have chosen super. I'm not jammed. Good for you. I love music about everything. I can hear almost everything. But this song is now one of my favorites. Really cool. I support you. Oh, this is my way of reviewing. From a to z.

BEATDROPJUNKIE REVIEW
Today I am writing a review about pretty fresh music. I am not a man of many words. I listened to the title after I got it from the artists / label. I think it's a catchphrase. A great title. Voice and music fit together perfectly. The song is lovely and warm.
The first seconds of this title frightened me. But I kept listening. After 30 seconds the usual environment of a song. I thought super a great song. Reminded me somehow of movies with Hugh Grant or something. I'm producing dance music now, everyone would expect me to talk bad about this title. But I will not. It is as mentioned at the outset, a warm cuddly song.
